First Day of Autumn

Today is the first official day of Autumn! I love this time of the year, the colors, smells and cool weather are very comforting.  

The only downside is the fact that I caught a bad cold last week so I have to hide under the covers until I feel better and can't enjoy the lovely weather as much as I would like too!

Queen Angelfish

Whenever I photograph bugs, fish or plants I try to research the name of the species or type, sometimes I end up typing the craziest things into my internet search bar. For this Queen Angelfish I had typed in "Yellow fish with blue" and searched until I found a photo of similar looking fish that actually was named!

Summer

Summer will be over soon but I am far from sad. I prefer the cooler autumn months personally. We had a beautiful summer though. Not too hot for most of the days. I enjoyed that.
